The Winery
 It is by using only the premium “first run” must from some of the finest European vineyards, that Galena Summit is able to produce their wonderful European style wines.
Too often we hear of the processes employed by many of the large wineries today and wonder if the art of winemaking has all but gone by the wayside. At Galena Summit we have chosen the Quality approach instead of the Quantity route. It is through our “minimalistic” European approach to winemaking that we are able to produce wines of spectacular finesse. Though limited by the Terroir (the coming together of climate, soil and landscape) from which our wines are derived  and by our commitment to “small batch” production, we are content to deliver uniquely different yet consistently enjoyable wines for those still interested in a “one on one” relationship with our company.
And so we will continue our minimalistic approach to winemaking and rely on our faith in an area, choice in a varietal and the vineyard management techniques needed to provide our vintner with the best possible fruit in order to achieve reproducible uniqueness. |
